Privacy policy
Days Owed · Last updated: 2026-10-14
Days Owed does not collect any data. Everything you type into it is kept, encrypted, on the phone it was typed on. We run no server for the app, it has no sign-in, and it contains no analytics or advertising code.
1. Who we are
Days Owed is published on Google Play by TETRABUY LLC. For this policy, TETRABUY LLC is the data controller. Write to contact@tetrabuyllc.shop with any question about it.
2. Information the app handles
Days Owed is a leave planner, so the information you put into it is about the people you manage: their names, the group they belong to, the days they work, when they started and left, and the leave they have booked or asked for. You can also add public holidays, minimum-cover rules and notes.
All of it stays on your phone. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see it.
3. Information we collect
None. We receive nothing from the app: no usage statistics, no crash reports, no device identifiers, no location, no contacts.
4. How the information is used
The app uses what you enter to draw the wall planner, check cover, and work out each person's allowance, balance, carried days and leaver settlement. Those calculations run on the phone.
5. Sharing
We share nothing, since we hold nothing. A file leaves the phone only when you export a backup or a CSV yourself, and it goes wherever you choose to save or send it. If that file contains information about your staff, looking after it is your responsibility.
6. Security
Records are stored in an encrypted database (Hive with AES-256). The encryption key is created on the phone and kept in Android's secure key storage through flutter_secure_storage. Your phone's own screen lock adds to that protection.
7. How long data is kept
Until you delete it. You can delete a person, a booking or a holiday at any time, and Settings has a Clear all data option that removes everything at once. Uninstalling the app also removes all of it. Because we keep no copy, there is nothing to ask us to delete.
8. Accounts
Days Owed has no accounts, no passwords and no user identifiers.
9. Children
The app is a workplace tool meant for adults and is not aimed at children under 13. It collects nothing from anyone, children included.
10. Your rights
Access, correction, deletion and portability rights apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none. On the phone you can view, edit and delete every record, and export a complete copy as JSON or CSV from Settings.
If you are one of the people recorded in someone else's copy of Days Owed, that information is held by the person who entered it, on their phone, not by us. Ask them about it directly.
11. Third parties
The app includes no third-party services. Google Play distributes it under Google's own privacy policy, which covers the download and not anything the app does afterwards.
12. Permissions
Days Owed asks for one Android permission, INTERNET. It is used only to show this page when you open Settings and tap Privacy policy. The app cannot read your location, camera, microphone, contacts, files or accounts.
13. Data safety on Google Play
The listing declares that no data is collected and no data is shared. Data is encrypted on the device and can be deleted from inside the app.
14. Changes to this policy
A revised policy is published at this same address with a new date at the top.
15. Contact and legal
Questions go to contact@tetrabuyllc.shop. TETRABUY LLC is the data controller, with no joint controller and no processor, because no personal data is processed off the phone.
GDPR. We do not process personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation, so there are no transfers, no lawful basis to state and nothing to report to a supervisory authority.
CCPA and CPRA. We do not collect, sell or share personal information and have not done so in the last twelve months. There is nothing to opt out of.
